Methods and tools for risk assessment - APV

There are no fixed requirements for how to prepare a health and safety risk assessment, APV. Here are a number of methods that you can use to map the working environment, discuss the results and find the best course of action.

A structured dialogue: The thorough method

The plan below describes a dialogue meeting which focuses on the psychological working environment in general and which lasts 1-2 hours. If you are focusing on a specific part of the working environment (e.g. stress or conflicts), you may be able to make the meeting shorter.

The horseshoe: The quick method

The horseshoe can be used to take a quick temperature measurement of the psychological working environment in the store or on a specific sub-topic such as stress, conflicts or social tone. It can be done in 10-20 minutes.
